Spicy Potatoes (Batatta Harra)

Recipes Ingredients

  • 8 Potatoes (Peeled and cut into cubes)
  • 4 tbsp Sultan Brand Olive Oil (Divided)
  • 3 Garlic cloves (Minced)
  • 1 tbsp Ziyad Brand Battata Harra Spice Blend
  • 1 cup Cilantro from a small bunch (Chopped)
  • Lemon wedges (For serving)

Process

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Drizzle the potatoes with two tablespoons of olive oil, and Battata Harra Spice Blend. Toss well to combine.

Step 3

Arrange the potatoes on the baking sheet in one layer. Roast until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy about 30 minutes, make sure you flip them halfway through.

Step 4

Meanwhile, in a frying Pan, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add the garlic and fresh cilantro. Sauté for a minute or 2 until the oil is fragrant and the cilantro is wilted.

Step 5

Top your crispy potatoes with the herb and garlic mixture. Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice.
