Eggs and Awarma with Liyye

Recipes Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup Sultan Olive Oil
  • 7 oz Beef Tenderloin (Diced )
  • 1 pinch Ziyad Brand Liyye Seasoning
  • Ziyad Brand Allspice
  • Salt
  • 3 Whole Eggs
  • 1 pinch Ziyad Brand Sumac
  • Fresh mint leaves


Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.

Step 2

Add the meat. Season with Ziyad Brand Liyye Seasoning, allspice powder, and salt.

Step 3

Cook and stir continuously until the meat is cooked over high heat.

Step 4

Serve the awarma in a fekhara (clay cooking pot) and place over medium heat.

Step 5

Crack the eggs and cook until the egg whites are set and yolks are still runny, then take off the heat.

Step 6

Season with Ziyad Brand Sumac. Garnish with mint leaves.
