Date Golden Milk and Ghee

Recipes Ingredients

  • 2 cups Milk or almond, oat, coconut milk, etc.
  • ½ tsp Ziyad Brand Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp Ziyad Brand Ground Turmeric
  • 3 Ziyad Brand Cardamom Pods, cracked, or 1/8 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp Grated fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp Ziyad Brand Ground Ginger
  • Pinch of Ziyad Brand Ground Nutmeg
  • A fresh grind of black pepper
  • 1 tsp Ziyad Brand Ghee
  • 2 tsp Ziyad Brand Date Syrup (adjust to taste)


Step 1

Add the milk, spices, and date syrup to a pan and whisk well to combine.

Step 2

Bring the mixture to boil and then reduce to a simmer for 5-10 minutes, whisking often so it doesn’t burn.

Step 3

Add ghee.

Step 4

Allow the golden milk to cool a little, strain and serve.
